Financial concerns mean that AC Milan are set to stick with current coach Filippo Inzaghi until the end of the season despite the team’s poor run of form.

Inzaghi’s future has been in doubt for sometime with increasing pressure mounting upon the legendary Rossonero who has been unable to lift the struggling giants out of mid table. However, it now appears that he will see out the season at Milanello because of the cost involved in sacking him and hiring a replacement.

Il Corriere della Sera reports that in the face of annual loses in the region of €50 million, and ongoing negotiations to sell a minority share in the club, president Silvio Berlusconi will persevere with Inzaghi until June when he will then be relieved of his post.

In addition to Inzaghi’s wages, Milan are still paying the salary of former coach Clarence Seedorf who was put on gardening leave after being removed from the position prior to the start of the current campaign.

what a shambles Milan are, man, one of the better decades in their history in 2000s and surely one of their worst in 2010s. totally beggars belief.
