Chelsea had scouts observe Felipe Anderson at Lazio’s matches against Torino and Fiorentina, as the revelation of the season shined once again and is leading his club to the Champions League.
The 21-year-old Brazilian youth international has impressed this season for the high-flying Biancocelesti, netting a respectable amount of nine goals and assisting another seven, with all of these points coming in his last eleven Serie A matches.
According to London Evening Standard, Chelsea are particularly interested in the player and had scouts present at recent Lazio matches.
However, The Blues will have to face tough competition, with Manchester United and Manchester City also expressing strong interest in the emerging star.
These rumours are circulating, despite Felipe Anderson signing a contract extension with Lazio just a couple of days ago, tying him to the Roma-based club until 2020.
