Manchester City look set to offer Samir Nasri in a bid to entice Juventus into allowing influential midfielder Paul Pogba to leave Serie A.

Pogba is said to be on the transfer radar at several top sides around Europe including his former club Manchester United, but it’s their neighbours Manchester City who’re looking to steal a march on all other potential suitors.

According to the Daily Mirror, City plan to approach the Bianconeri with a package involving Pogba’s fellow Frenchman Nasri as part of a player-plus-cash deal. It was originally thought Serbian forward Edin Dzeko would become the makeweight in any firm offer for the Old Lady’s sought-after star, but the latest reports suggest otherwise.

Juventus rate the 22-year-old at around €80 million, meaning the reigning Premier League champions would need to stump up a considerable amount of money in addition to Nasri if they are to finally get their man.
