English Premier League side Liverpool are reportedly lining up a summer move for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The 27-year-old has been integral to the Bianconeri this season making a total of 44 appearances, however he could be set to depart as the Reds line him up as a replacement for their departing captain Steven Gerrard.
Gazzetta Dello Sport have confirmed that Liverpool have emerged as the latest contenders to try to obtain the Chilean’s signature but they also stated that this deal will depend upon how Juventus fair themselves during the transfer window.
It is reported the Italian side are monitoring Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan as a replacement if Vidal is to leave, although the problems surrounding his dual-ownership could create some problems.
The Belgium midfielder is currently co-owned by Roma and Cagliari and is also a reported target for Manchester United.
LMAO
Great player but I would be 50/50 if he would pick Liverpool.
This is a rather silly prospect don’t you think? Juventus do not sell players unless they ask to leave. Why on this earth would Vidal want to leave, for a side like Liverpool no less? The club have the finances to retain Vidal AND Pogba, while splashing in a few other areas as well…
