Despite AC Milan having endured their worst season in decades, Silvio Berlusconi has taken a swipe at Juventus’ European record, reminding people that the Rossoneri have five titles, compared to the Bianconeri’s one during his time at Milan.

The Milan president spent Monday in the Swiss town of Lugano to discuss the finer details of a deal that will see Bee Taechaubol buy 48% of the club for close to €500 million and Berlusconi revealed that the meeting went well before he spoke of what the future holds for the club.

“It [the meeting] went well, it shouldn’tbe necessary to come back to Lugano,” Berlusconi told Swiss TV Station RSI.

“We will return to winning ways, we will get back into Europe.

“With me, Milan have won five European Cups and during this time, Juve have played five finals but won just one.

“I am sure that Milan will become great again, it is often a cyclical matter, but the last Scudetto was just four years ago.”

Berlusconi then refused to discuss transfer, namely Dani Alves and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

“Dani Alves and Ibra? I won’t reveal names otherwise they will spread like wildfire and the deals will go up in smoke.

“Milan is a part of my heart, I will return to invest.”
