Gonzalo Higuain NapoliNapoli striker Gonzalo Higuain has reportedly asked club president Aurelio De Laurentiis to consider a bid from Liverpool.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a transfer away from the Stadio San Paolo following their failure to qualify for the Champions League next season, as well as Rafael Benitez’s departure from the club.

According to Sport Mediaset, Higuain is keen on making a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool heading the queue for his services, and wants De Laurentiis to at least look at any offer presented.

Manchester United and Chelsea are also monitoring the striker’s situation in Naples.

It was revealed that Higuain has a €95 million buy-out clause in his contract, though it is thought De Laurentiis will accept an offer of around €60m for the Argentinian.

Higuain made 37 Serie A appearances for Napoli last season, bagging 18 goals.

Brendan Rodgers should go for the most current player not an old name. the fermino signing is a reflex that change, sanity and good football is coming to rain in Liverpool. but he should go for striker like laccazete or doneshk striker, a Brazilian
