Watford patron Gino Pozzo is optimistic that the Premier League club can complete the signings of Davide Santon and Zdravko Kuzmanovic from Inter.
The Hornets have agreed a fee with the Nerazzurri for the pair, though the players are not said to be keen on joining the club.
“At the moment I cannot say too much as the talks are ongoing, but I an confident they will change their minds,” Pozzo told FCInterNews.it.
“I am staying optimistic.”
Santon only re-joined Inter in January after three-and-a-half seasons with Newcastle United, and went on to make 14 appearances for the Nerazzurri.
On the other hand, Kuzmanovic has found playing time harder to come by as the Serbian has made just 25 appearances in all competitions for Inter last season.
