RuganiJuventus centre-back Daniele Rugani is reportedly in high demand, with Napoli the latest club to have submitted an offer for the youngster.

The defender, who turns 21 later this month, worked alongside Maurizio Sarri last season at Empoli with great success and the Partenopei coach is believed to be interested in a reunion.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli have seen a bid of €22 million rejected by the Old Lady, who apparently view Rugani as an important member of the squad now that Angelo Ogbonna has left Serie A to join West Ham United.

It comes hot on the heels of earlier speculation suggesting Arsenal had made an approach, offering a similar amount of money, which was also turned down flat by the Bianconeri.

The Italian Under-21 international is currently contracted to Juventus until 2019 and seems unlikely to be going anywhere this summer.
