Liverpool will reportedly loan bombastic forward Mario Balotelli to Fiorentina in exchange for German Mario Gomez.
Balotelli endured a torrid time in first season at Anfield and has recently been linked with a move away from Merseyside.
According to Tuttosport and La Nazione, Liverpool have offered the Italian forward a chance to come back to Serie A on loan to Fiorentina.
As part of the deal Viola forward Gomez would go the other way. However, the transfer is still in its infancy with a few hurdles to overcome say La Nazione.
Fiorentina and coach Paulo Sousa are assessing the impact Balotelli would have on young prospect Khouma Babacar, who impressed on occasion last season, as well as on the dressing room at Fiorentina.
It will be a good biz. Who knows Balo may likely perform better there.
