AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is reportedly impressed following talks with Liverpool forward Mario Balotelli.

The Italian is set to join the Rossoneri on a season-long loan, with an option to making the deal permanent for €10 million.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport it’s been the discussions between Mihajlovic and Balotelli that has made the deal possible.

The two first met at Inter when the Mihajlovic was assistant coach, but now positive talks in Florence could create a reunion.

Mihajlovic has reportedly told Balotelli that he’ll need to work hard, being the first to arrive and last to leave for training, if he joins the club.

Balotelli seemed to acknowledge the request, claiming he wouldn’t disappoint in what could be a last chance to save his career.

These talks appeared to prompt the approval of Mihajlovic for the deal to go through.

A medical is now due to take place, with Liverpool and Milan each paying half the player’s wages.
