Juventus have once again set their sights on Manchester City’s Samir Nasri.

The reigning Serie A champions are looking towards securing the services of the French international after negotiations with Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler have reached a stalemate.

According to TuttoMercatoweb.com, the Bianconeri’s hopes of signing Nasri have been boosted after he has slipped down the pecking order at the Etihad stadium, following the arrival of Raheem Sterling from Liverpool and the potential addition of Kevin De Bruyne from Wolfsburg.

The Frenchman has struggled for first-team football recently with Citizens boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is yet to name the 28-year-old in his starting eleven this season.

Nasri has amassed a total of 116 appearances for Manchester City, having scored 17 goals since joining from Arsenal in 2011 for a fee of £24 million.
