Lazio have targeted Feyenoord youngster Tonny Vilhena as a potential midfield replacement for the recently injured Lucas Biglia.
Biglia, who opened the scoring in Lazio’s 2-1 season opening triumph over Bologna, will be out of action for his side with a calf injury and the Biancocelesti are considering reinforcements to maintain their hopes of qualification to the Champions League.
According to Cittaceleste.it, the club are seeking the talents of 20-year-old Feyenoord youth academy graduate Vilhena, but may face added competition from the likes of Fiorentina, Inter, and Juventus.
Despite the competition, the Aquile have a slight advantage in negotiating a deal as they’ve already signed Ricardo Kishna from Ajax and sporting director Igli Tare has made contact with their mutual agent, Mino Raiola.
Vilhena has made 79 Eredivisie appearances with Feyenoord as well as featuring for the Netherlands from the U15 to U21 level.
