Liverpool exile Mario Balotelli could complete a medical with AC Milan tomorrow.
The Rossoneri are going ahead with a loan move for the 25-year-old, with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic approving of the move.
According to Sky Sport Italia the striker could undergo his medical in the next 24 hours, with Milan and Liverpool now discussing a potential buyout clause as part of the loan deal.
Balotelli only left the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in August 2014, having scored 30 goals in 54 appearances in all competitions on his return to Italy following his first spell in England.
However, he hasn’t enjoyed the same success at Liverpool, who are prepared to pay half of his wages should he join Milan on loan.
Mihajlovic met Balotelli in Florence to discuss his availability, with the former Manchester City goal poacher eager to return.
Balotelli will have Luiz Adriano and Carlos Bacca to compete with over a starting place in the Rossoneri attack following the investments made over the summer.
