New Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri is hoping to add to his defensive line-up ahead of the new season
The Partenopei have been looking to strengthen their defensive personnel this transfer window after a poor showing last season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Udinese’s 27-year-old Thomas Heurtaux and 22-year-old Marios Oikonomou from Bologna are already on the Azzurri’s radar.
Napoli have already secured defenders Elseid Hysaj and Vlad Chiriches during the summer but had a bid rejected by Torino for their centre-back Nikola Maksimovic.
Kalidou Koulibaly is set to leave Napoli after a number of offers have been made for the Frenchman’s signature.
Reports suggest that if he does indeed part ways with the club, they will then look towards a bid for Inter’s Juan Jesus as his replacement.
