Napoli’s Jonathan De Guzman is set to complete a €4 million move to Marseille within the next 24 hours.
New Partenopei coach Maurizio Sarri has already told the Netherlands international that he no longer features in his plans for the upcoming season and with the Ligue 1 outfit having tabled their first offer for the 27-year-old last week, they have now met Napoli’s valuation of De Guzman.
Tuttomercatoweb.com is reporting that a €4 million deal will be completed on Tuesday with De Guzman signing a two-year deal with the option for a third year at the Stade Veledrome. The player will be unveiled at Marseille on Wednesday to bring an end to his one-year stay in Italy.
De Guzman was signed by Napoli from Villarreal for around €8.5 million after the Dutchman had spent the previous two seasons on loan with Swansea City.
