Prominent agent and television pundit Pasquale Gallo has given his thoughts on Sunday’s Derby Della Madonnina showdown between AC Milan and Inter, but is not convinced that Mario Balotelli will shine in his return to the Stadio Meazza.
Balotelli is no stranger to the fixture having played for the Nerazzurri from 2007 to 2010, and is now representing the Rossoneri for the second time in his career.
“A defeat would penalise Milan more in terms of the league table, as they have fewer points at this stage” said Gallo in the SportItalia studio.
“But Inter’s performances have been unconvincing despite two wins, so a loss in the derby would quell their enthusiasm.”
Although Gallo does not represent ‘Super Mario’, he revealed his scepticism regarding the controversial ex-Liverpool forward.
“I hope the Milan players can discover the true Balotelli but after seven years many people are weary of his promises of change.”
Since returning to Il Diavolo last month, Balotelli has had his driving licence revoked after he was caught speeding.
