Genoa forward Goran Pandev has stated that he would like to help Genoa win a trophy this season.
The former Inter player signed for the Grifone in the summer after his contract with Turkish side Galatasaray expired.
“I have to thank [Gian Piero] Gasperini and [president Enrico] Preziosi who both wanted me to come here.” said Pandev to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I’m settled now with my family. I expected to come here as early as January but I couldn’t manage to free myself, but now I’m here.
“I gave my word to the club that I would join.
“Now I want to win a trophy here, the Coppa Italia maybe, as I did with Lazio, Napoli and Inter.
“The supporters here are very special, you have to make them happy.”
