After failing to adapt to Serie A play in the first few rounds of the season Frosinone have found their groove. They have won two out of their last four games and have been competitive in the others. At the weekend they lost 1-0 Udinese, with a fantastic Francesco Lodi free kick the difference between the two sides.

Carpi meanwhile are still trying to find their feet in Serie A. After securing their first win in Serie A against Torino earlier in the month, they have lost both their games to Atalanta and Bologna. The latter was a 2-1 defeat at the weekend where they were 1-0 up but had a man sent off and then conceded two second half goals. Carpi will be hoping to improve away from home having conceded at least two goals in their last four away matches in Serie A.

Frosinone got the better of Carpi last season in Serie B, taking four out of a possible six points from the Biancorossi. Carpi ultimately had the last laugh as they lifted the Serie B trophy, finishing nine points ahead of the Canarini.

Biancorossi manager Giuseppe Sannino will be without a bulk of his midfield for the Carpi game. Gaspar Iniguez, Lorenzo Pasciuti and Raphael Martinho will all miss the match due to injury.

Canarini manger Roberto Stellone will have almost a full squad at his disposal for the match. The only absence will be defensive midfielder Robert Gucher.
