Amadou Diawara BolognaBologna midfielder Amadou Diawara reportedly turned down a move to Bundesliga side Schalke before joining the Rossoblu.

The 18-year-old Guinean was signed by the Rossoblu this summer from San Marino Calcio and made his debut for the side in the final few minutes of their opening game of the season.

As reported by Il Resto del Carlino, though, the German side offered him a deal worth €15 million but he declined the offer.

Since joining the newly promoted Serie A side, the midfielder has appeared 11 times in all competitions and is yet to grab a goal.

Bologna currently sit in 18th place in the league table after picking up just two wins and eight losses so far this season and are four points behind 17th placed Frosinone.

Their next fixture is a visit from Atalanta on Sunday afternoon.
