Frosinone SampdoriaUdinese host Frosinone at Stadio Friuli this Sunday afternoon with both sides trying to turn around their fortunes.

Following a hopeful start to the season where the Udine based club defeated defending Serie A champions Juventus 1-0, they have since struggled. They have only won one game since their win at the Juventus stadium, 2-1 against Bologna, although they are unbeaten in three following the Bologna win and draws against Genoa and Hellas Verona.

After struggling to adapt to Serie A following their promotion to Italy’s top tier, Frosinone has found their feet. They earned a creditable draw against Juventus and have won two of their past three games in Serie A after victories against both Empoli and Sampdoria.

Frosinone are just one point and once place behind Udinese who are in 15th with eight and a win for either side would steer them clear of a relegation zone, at least for now.

The two clubs have never met before, with both looking to gain points in the hopes of staying clear of the relegation zone.

Udinese are still without Panagiotis Kone who suffered an injury while on international duty after scoring a late winner giving Greece a 4-3 win over Hungary, their only victory during their disastrous European Championship qualifiers. The attacking midfielder has just one assist for the Zebrette so far this season. Udinese have other injuries with Duvan Zapata, Guilherme, Alexander Merkel and  Giovanni Pasquale all ruled out.

Frosinone have less injury worries with only duo Daniel Pavlovic and Robert Gucher for selection.
