Biabiany - InterJonathan Biabiany thanked his teammates after notching his first goal of the season in Inter’s 4-0 demolition of Frosinone on Sunday evening at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The 27-year-old was able to hit the back of the net in what was his first starting appearance for the Nerazzurri this season, helping to move them to outright first in the Serie A league table.

“I’m glad with the goal after a year [without scoring] and I especially want to thank my teammates,” he told Mediaset Premium.

“We did well. It was important to win today because these can be difficult matches.

“Inter have to aim for the Scudetto and fight until the end, which will be a difficult task for us and also for the other competing teams.”

The Frenchman also praised his attacking counterpart Mauro Icardi, after the Argentine scored his fourth goal of the campaign against Frosinone.

“He has goals in his blood,” Biabiany continued.

“He is working well for the team and the important thing is to be ready when you are needed to put one in.”
