Roberto Mancini Inter MilanInter coach Roberto Mancini calmed title talk after his side went two points clear at the summit of the table with their 4-0 win against Frosinone.

The Nerazzurri were dominant throughout and driven forward by Jonathan Biabiany who scored the opener. Adem Ljajic was also integral and he then set-up Mauro Icardi, Jeison Murillo and Marcelo Brozovic for the next three goals.

“There are three or four teams better equipped than us to win the Scudetto,” said Mancini to Mediaset Premium.

“We are happy to be up there, but there’s a long way to go this season, things are going well and even when we win 1-0 I’m happy.

“We had to improve in exploiting chances. It was a difficult match but we deserved to win and we are very happy for the win. I’m satisfied, the team was also solid defensively.

“I’m happy for Biabiany, he had a serious problem, his career was threatened but he recovered, he is a great guy and a great player who can give us speed and we are very happy for him.

“We all played well, the players are excellent. The technique of [Stevan] Jovetic will bear fruit for Mauro Icardi, they haven’t played much together and it takes time.”

Mancini also responded to whether he may move for Andrea Pirlo in the January transfer window.

“There was much talk of Pirlo, he is a great player and he decided to have a different experience which he will enjoy a lot. He has won a lot in Italy already so I doubt that he will return,” added Mancini.
