Bologna midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini will be heading back to his parent club Sunderland after his current loan spell ends, his agent has confirmed.
Giaccherini joined the Rossoblu in the summer on a season-long loan deal, and has featured six times for I Veltri this season, recently helping his side to two consecutive wins against Atalanta and Hellas Verona.
“Giaccherini is happy inBolognabut in June he will be going back toSunderland,” said Furio Valcareggi to Radio Nettuno.
“He has anotheryear of his contract leftwiththe Black Cats, and after that we will see what happens.
“At this moment in time thereare no agreementswith any other clubs. Either way, it is still tooearly to talk abouttransfer rumours.”
The former Juventus player has recently been called up to the Italian national team by coach Antonio Conte.
