Barcelona are the latest club linked with a January move for Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva.
The Blaugrana’s transfer ban is set to be lifted next month and the club are looking for additional reinforcements, having already finalized deals for Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal. Barca have not yet been able to reinvest the €30 million they received for the sale of Pedro to Chelsea in the summer and the Catalan club are eager to spend.
A potential sale, however, will take some negotiating as Candreva is considered a talisman for the Aquile.
The Italian international has only mustered a single goal in Serie A and is without an assist this season.
A change of scenery might serve Candreva well and a significant cash injection for the Biancocelesti will prove tempting as the club will search for ways in which to bolster their squad in an attempt to get back into a Europa League position.
Napoli, AC Milan and Inter have also been reported to be interested in the former Udinese player.
