Bologna coach Roberto Donadoni praised the ‘perfect’ display in their 3-2 win over Napoli.

Mattia Destro scored a brace and Luca Rossettini added a third to complete a shock win for the Rossoblu.

“Today I saw a Bologna side that I understood, we played the game in the right way,” Donadoni told Mediaset.

“The boys are in an extraordinary state of confidence, doing exactly what needs to be done. We were perfect.”

Gonzalo Higuain scored twice late in the game to put the hosts under pressure, but did win all three points.

“We had a natural decline toward the end of the game, but we have an excellent mix of players,” he added.

“I told the team not to think about the quality of our opponents, just to try and play to our own strengths.

“We put them under a lot of pressure, even if their quality came through later on,” Donadoni concluded.

Bologna move onto 16 points in the league table, pushing them further away from the relegation zone.
