Leonardo Pavoletti GenoaAC Milan are considering a move for Genoa striker Leonardo Pavoletti if their Brazilian forward Luiz Adriano leaves the club in the coming days.

The 28-year-old  was expected to leave the Diavolo last week, but his move to China Super League side Jiangsu Suning fell through due to guarantees over wages demands, but that deal could now go through before the weekend.

According to Goal.com, if the former Shakhtar Donetsk striker does make the move to China, Milan will turn their attention to Rossoblu forward Pavoletti.

Any deal for the 27-year-old would the cost Rossoneri around €12 million, which would be offset by the expected €14m they would receive from the sale of Luiz Adriano to the China Super League side.

The former Sassuolo forward has found the net ten times in 14 games this campaign for the Rossoblu, including two goals in the Derby della Lanterna, as Genoa lost 3-2 to Sampdoria in early January.
