Etienne CapoueAC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Watford midfielder Etienne Capoue should they fail in their efforts to sign Marouane Fellaini from Manchester United.

The Rossoneri currently find themselves stuck in sixth place, however after their summer spending spree, qualifying for the Champions League is a must for Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side.

According to Spanish paper Marca, Milan’s first target is The Red Devils Belgian who is thought to be unwanted in Manchester, but should they fail to sign the 28-year-old they will target Capoue.

Yet, a deal seems unlikely as the Frenchman only joined the The Hornets last summer and has become a key part of Quique Sanchez Flores’s side in Hertfordshire.

This season Capoue had made 20 starts for Watford assisting one goal in his defensive midfield position.

Buying any of them wont help. Lars Bender or even Sven Bender is better. We need defenders not midfielders
