Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia is considering his options as a move to local rivals AC Milan or Sampdoria remains on the cards.
The 27-year-old was spotted at the Hotel Gallia to meet his agent and the building is often used by the Blucerchiati as a base on transfer deadline days.
“I only renewed my contract recently but you can never know in football,” said Ranocchia to SportItalia.
“It’s normal to want to play more in a year with the European Championship, we’ll see what happens in the coming days.”
The centre-back was previously linked with Liverpool who didn’t pursue a move while Bologna were also interested before they decided that the player was too expensive.
Ranocchia has made just one start and nine substitute appearances for the Nerazzurri during the 2015-16 season after being a regular feature and club captain in the prior campaign.
