Atalanta coach Edy Reja believes his players need to show more anger and intensity if they are to return to their early season form.
With Inter set to visit the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia in round 20 of Serie A action, La Dea will be looking to put an end to their current losing run, as they come into the meeting on an unwanted run of four consecutive defeats.
“We are not going through a happy moment,” said Reja to the press ahead of his side’s game against the Biscione. “We need to find a little more intensity and even anger.”
“I am convinced that we can put them in some difficulty,” the 70-year-old continued.
Before concluding, Reja took the time to discuss the newest arrival in Bergamo, with Alessandro Diamanti completing a move from Watford earlier this week.
“We are happy to have him here,” he said.
“He has many great qualities and is an excellent set-piece taker, which will be an important additional weapon for us.”
