Premier League strugglers Swansea have contacted Lazio with an offer for Spanish star Keita Balde.
Biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito rejected the €10 million offer, however, as the fee was considered to be too low.
As reported by Premium Sport, the Swans are keen to continue their chase of Balde, and the Stadio Olimpico side could be set to receive an upgraded offer for the 20-year-old.
The Spaniard has featured 14 times in Serie A for the Aquile this season, scoring twice and assisting a further two goals for his team-mates.
Lazio’s last outing resulted in a shock 3-1 victory over high-flying Fiorentina, in which Balde opened the scoring for his side.
