ravel morrison lazioLazio midfielder Ravel Morrison could make a deadline-day return to England, with Bournemouth and Aston Villa reportedly interested in his services.

Having only officially joined the Biancocelesti in the summer, the Englishman has failed to make any sort of significant impact on the pitch, while making headlines for the wrong reasons away from the field.

According to Il Messagero, both Villa and Bournemouth could offer Morrison an escape from his time in Italy, as the two clubs look to battle against relegation this season.

The Biancocelesti have reportedly turned down offers from other Italian clubs for the midfielder, with Torino and Sampdoria both making enquiries about his availability, though it now appears that the Eternal City side are willing to let the wantaway Englishman leave.

Morrison returned to England in November for ‘personal reasons’, following his omission from a Europa League squad, and has been criticised by coach Stefano Pioli for refusing to learn Italian.

In a disastrous campaign so far, the 22-year-old has played just 53 minutes of Serie A football.
