Lazio refuse to sell former Manchester United player

Lazio refused to sell English midfielder Ravel Morrison, as the 23-year-old was close to securing a return to the Premier League in January

Morrison only signed for Lazio last summer as a free agent, but the midfielder was looking to return to his home country in order to secure more playing time. He was linked with both Premier League sides Bournemouth and Aston Villa.

However,  the Italian side blocked the player’s potential departure as they want him to remain with the side at least until the end of the season.

This is news that would displease the Englishman, who has only been involved in seven matches in all competitions for the Biancocelesti this season.

He has featured in three Serie A matches this campaign, having only played a total of 51 minutes.
