Kone + Glik - Udinese v TorinoGreek midfielder Panagiotis Kone has completed a switch from Udinese to Serie A rivals Fiorentina on an initial loan deal.

Kone has previously played for Brescia and Bologna before moving to the Zebrette in 2014 while he has also appeared in Greece for AEK Athens and Iraklis.

Udinese’s official website has confirmed that La Viola will be able to play Kone for the rest of the season as he joins them on loan until May, with the Firenze side having the option to buy the player outright should Kone impress during the loan spell.

Kone began his football career in youth sides in France before moving back to Greece and then coming to play on the peninsula.

Since joining Udinese, he has scored three goals and assisted another four in 38 games.

Ironically, his most recent goal for the Friuli side came against the club he will now play for.
