Bologna could be waving goodbye to one of their most influential players come the end of the season as the future of key man Emanuele Giaccherini looks increasingly uncertain, with a return to Sunderland on the cards.
The former Juventus midfielder is currently on loan from the Black Cats, though without the option to make the deal permanent, Bologna may have a hard task on their hands in convincing the English side to let Giaccherini stay.
