Bologna CarpiBologna coach Roberto Donadoni lamented his team’s inability to score goals in their 0-0 draw at home to Capri.

This is the Felsinei’s third consecutive draw in Serie A but the frame of the goal denied Emanuele Giaccherini and Daniele Gastaldello the chances to win the game. The Rossoblu tactician admitted that his team were capable of controlling the tempo of the match though and at least they had the ability to create scoring opportunities.

“The boys tried hard, but  they weren’t good enough in front of goal,” Donadoni told Radio RAI.

“Our composure was missing. Carpi had more of it, they were also determined and they often anticipated our moves.

“Then we also hit the crossbar once and a post, in addition to a penalty that we should have got. Today we controlled the game, the mentality of the boys has been developing, it is important and positive.”
