Edy RejaAtalanta coach Edy Reja has lamented his side’s naivety in their 2-0 defeat to Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening.

La Dea went toe-to-toe with the Aquile for much of the contest but were undone by Miroslav Klose in the 67th minute before the veteran forward compounded the away side’s misery in stoppage time.

“We commit naive mistakes that a team in our situation cannot grant,” he told Rai Sport after the defeat.

“Unfortunately, it happens sometimes, we make one wrong turn and do not have the attacking quality that is required.

“We made something of it against Lazio, but results are needed.”

Atalanta are without a victory since December 6 and Reja admitted that he is under pressure.

“Above all, the coach is at risk after 14 games without a victory, it seems very normal in my condition,” he added.

“But I put myself into question every day, the club is organized, I just do not understand what’s happened.”
