AC Milan forward Carlos Bacca has apologised for staring down coach Cristian Brocchi and not shaking the hand of Jeremy Menez when he was substituted against Carpi.
“Looking back with a cool head, and after watching it a few times I just want to apologise to the coach and to my teammates, as well as the Milan fans for the gesture I made,” Bacca said on his Instagram page.
“I just thought I could help the team out on the field because as a team we were struggling. Everything is all right now, both with my teammates and with the coach and I’m happy at this club. ”
Milan were unable to win the match following Bacca’s departure eventually drawing 0-0 with the newly promoted side.
