Inter - Frosinone - JoveticFrosinone coach Roberto Stellone believes luck wasn’t on their side in a 1-0 defeat to Inter at the Stadio Matusa.

Mauro Icardi gave the Nerazzurri the lead they needed and Leonardo Blanchard was shown a second yellow in the second half.

“I am sorry for the defeat, we conceded very little to Inter and we were good on the counter attack,” Stellone told Sky Sport Italia.

The home side hit the woodwork on three occasions over the 90 minutes, the last coming from a looping Daniel Pavlovic free kick.

“We could have been more fortunate, but Inter scored a big goal and I can’t blame anything on players who gave everything,” Stellone added.

“It’s a shame we couldn’t get a positive result, there are six matches remaining and we hope results elsewhere are helpful.

“We will try and give our all and make as many points as possible.”

Frosinone remained second from bottom with Palermo and Carpi able to pull clear with wins.
