Mauro Icardi - InterInter captain Mauro Icardi is not ruling out a late charge towards the Champions’ League places, but thinks Inter must take things one game at a time.

Icardi struck in the second half to give Inter a 1-0 win away at Frosinone, which moved the Nerazzurri to within five points of third-placed Roma.

“We need to keep winning, as anything can happen in football, and we’ll see where we are in May,” Icardi told Premium Sport after the victory over Frosinone.

Icardi has frequently been linked with a move away from Inter, but he reiterated his desire to stay at the club.

“I’m saying it for the last time, I am here to win and want to achieve great things with this club,” Icardi added.

Inter will continue their hunt for Champions League football when they host Napoli next weekend.
