Thohir-MorattiInter president Erick Thohir has reassured supporters that he has no intention of selling the majority of his shares at the club, as negotiations with a potential new partner commence in China.

The media mogul stated in February that he wished to keep a hold of the entirety of his shares but has since backtracked somewhat on those statements.

“I do not intend to sell the entire club, we are only looking for a minority partner that can make Inter even stronger,” Thohir said, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The corporation in question are Suning Commerce Group, a Chinese retail company that has recently began pumping significant money into the Chinese Super League.

Purchasing Jiangsu Sainty in 2015, the club was thereafter renamed Jiangsu Suning and ownership has spent over €100 million on reinforcements in 2016 alone.

Currently within the club’s ranks are ex-Chelsea man Ramires and Alex Teixeira, formerly of Shakhtar Donetsk.
