Juventus FC v AS Roma - Serie ARoma coach Luciano Spalletti believes his squad must be fully committed if they are to overcome Bologna in Serie A at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Monday evening.

The 57-year-old tactician also pointed out that it was Roberto Donadoni’s Rossoblu outfit who halted Juventus’ winning streak in February, proving their ability to compete with the top teams in the league.

“We are working for the success of Roma, not of the individual,” Spalletti told reporters during his pre-match press conference.

“There is no chance of me doing anything other than focusing on the games we have left to play.

“My aim is to pull everyone together into a relationship, and to do the best for Roma. Bologna are a very tricky proposition, let’s not forget it was they who ended Juventus’ run.”

Spalletti revealed he treats club captain Francesco Totti like any other member of the playing staff and will continue to do so if it benefits the Giallorossi.

“I treat Totti like a real footballer,” he added.

“Not everyone does that. I pick him if he offers me more than the others. I care about Totti and we’ll move forward together in the same direction for the good of Roma.”
