Chelsea considering bid for Lazio midfielder

The newly appointed Blues coach worked closely with the former Parma man during his time with the Azzurri and is allegedly very keen on adding the versatile midfielder to his ranks at the London side.
According to Cittaceleste.it, the Chelsea hierarchy are more than happy to oblige to their new coach’s desires.
However, it has to be considered that Parolo’s transfer fee would be above an estimated €25 million. Such a bid, indeed, has already been rejected by the Lazio hierarchy last summer, when they were approached by AC Milan.
Conte has already spent around €35m on signing N’Golo Kante from Leicester City during the current transfer window.
The 31-year-old accumulated 31 Serie A appearances with the Biancocelesti last year, scoring three goals in the process.
