Inter defender Davide Santon is edging closer to completing a move to Napoli with a medical due to take place soon.
The Partenopei have already secured deals with Lorenzo Tonelli and Emanuele Giaccherini this summer, and Santon looks set to become their third signing of the current transfer market.
According to Sky Italia, the 25-year-old will undergo a medical on Monday which, should he pass, will most likely lead to him being unveiled as an official Partenopei player.
Santon will hope a fresh start with Napoli will revitalise his career somewhat after a disappointing time at the Stadio Meazza with Inter, for whom he only appeared 13 times in all competitions last season.
The Italian international returned to the Nerazurri on loan in January 2015 from English Premier League side Newcastle United, before the move was made permanent that summer.
