The agent of Lazio winger Antonio Candreva has confirmed interest in his client from Napoli and believes a transfer could happen soon.
It was recently reported that Napoli had submitted a new, increased offer for the Biancocelesti and Italy winger and now Candreva’s agent, Federico Pastorello, has revealed contract negotiations have reached the next stage.
“We knew of the agreement between Lazio and Napoli, the player likes the destination,” Pastorello told Mediaset Premium.
“Now we will put forward our demands and we shall see, taking into account there there have been previous negotiations.”
Candreva moved to Lazio in 2012 after playing for several clubs on loan while being owned by Udinese, and he has since scored 45 goals and assisted 46 more in 192 appearances.
The 29-year-old was also a key part of Italy’s squad at Euro 2016.
