AC Milan in the future.

The recently-retired Swedish international completed a transfer to the Red Devils recently but did appear in a Diavolo shirt between 2010 and 2012, where he won a Serie A title, and his agent believes a return could be on the cards some time in the future.

“If he returned to Italy then yes, everyone knows that his heart has always had a bit of the Rossoneri in it,” Raiola told Sky Sport Italia.

Raiola has several high-profile clients as well as Ibrahimovic, including hotly-discussed Paul Pogba and Italian striker Mario Balotelli, and he remains optimistic regarding the chances of the latter.

“I’m an optimistic person, we know this season did not go as planned but I hope there is some times for him to prove his worth,” Raiola said.

Balotelli returned to Milan on loan from Liverpool for last season, but he only managed to score one goal in Serie A.
