Following an impressive performance at the European Championship during the summer, Antonio Candreva has completed a move from Lazio to Inter.

The 29-year old midfielder leaves the Roman club after four seasons and nearly 200 appearances for the Biancocelesti, becoming the Stadio Meazza side’s first signed player following the club’s acquisition by the Suning Holdings Group.

“I am really proud and happy to be here,” Candreva told the club’s official website.

“I have always wanted to play for Inter, it is an indescribable emotion now that I am here.

“Of course I want to thank Lazio for our seasons together, and for giving me the opportunity to fulfil this dream.

“I am looking forward to playing at the San Siro, and feeling the warmth of Inter fans.”

The midfielder signed a four-year contract with Nerazzurri and is expected to wear the number 87.
