Valdifiori NapoliNapoli‘s Mirko Valdifiori could become a subject of an offer from Roma this summer, should the Giallorossi progress to the Champions League’s group stage.

Luciano Spalletti’s side also intend to continue their pursuit of Bologna‘s Amadou Diawara, as well as joining Arsenal and West Ham United in a battle over Thomas Vermaelen, as they look to add further depth to their squad this transfer window.

According to Mediaset Premium, Spalletti is a keen admirer of Valdifiori, and could look to lure him away from the Stadio San Paolo with the opportunity of more regular first team football, but will only do so if the Stadio Olimpico side progress through their Champions League playoff.

In 2015, Valdifiori followed coach Maurizio Sarri to Naples from Empoli, where he previously worked closely with the tactician.

Since joining the Partenopei, the Italy international has featured on just 15 occasions, during which time he has contributed with two assists.
