Juventus have been branded “a nightmare” after their 2-1 home loss to Sassuolo in Serie A on Tuesday evening.

The Bianconeri had found a way back into the game before Maxime Lopez’s 95th-minute winner put them to the sword for their third loss of the Serie A season, leaving them 13 points behind leaders AC Milan.

The loss leaves Juventus in seventh place on 15 points and well out of the race for the Scudetto, which means they can now wave goodbye to, according to QS.

Wins for Inter in Empoli and for Roma away at Cagliari also didn’t do Massimiliano Allegri‘s team any favours as they continue to look a shadow of their former selves.

Next up for the Bianconeri is a trip to face Hellas Verona on Saturday, and should things not go their way then they could wind up in the bottom half of Serie A come the end of Round 11.
