Faouzi Ghoulam looks ever more likely to depart Napoli as Arsenal are preparing an ambitious offer for the 24-year-old.
Despite Maurizio Sarri’s arrival at the Stadio San Paolo, the talented Algerian continues to be a top target for the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal, which could prompt the new coach to consider letting go of the player for future investments.
According to Sport Italia, Arsenal are willing to offer €12-13 million for Ghoulam within the next week, and are willing to extend bonuses in the deal up to the €15m mark.
The Premier League remains the most likely destination for the player if he should depart Napoli, with Chelsea rumoured to be ready to take on their London rivals with their own bid.
Should Ghoulam leave Napoli are planning to replace the left-back with Matteo Darmian or Sassuolo’s Sime Vrsaljko.
