Adem Ljajic FiorentinaFiorentina striker Adem Ljajic was subject to booing and whistling at the team’s official presentation at the Artemio Franchi.

The Serbian international has apparently agreed terms with AC Milan as his contract is set to expire.

His reluctance to sign a new contract saw him receive a hostile reception from Fiorentina fans ahead of their first Serie A fixture.

However Ljajic was not the only player abused as both Ruben Oliveria and Juan Manuel Vargas received their fair share.

Fiorentina are reportedly offering the former Partizan Belgrade youngster a contract worth €1.2 million a year with a €10m buyout clause.

But the Rossoneri are looking to prize the precocious talent away from Florence scuppering other negotiations for the player.

Ljajic’s future is expected to be resolved by Friday 23rd August when Fiorentina face Grasshopper in the Europa League.

The 21 year-old made 31 appearances in all competitions last season scoring on 12 occasions.
